Ingredients Needed For Egg Crescent
- 1-2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls (see below)
- 5 eggs
- ½ cup milk – we like using soy milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4-8 slices turkey bacon (see below)
- optional: seasoning/salt/pepper
NOTE: If you make the crescent ring just like this, you’ll use 1 can of crescent rolls and 4 slices of bacon. However, you can use 2 cans if you don’t want the big spaces in between the rolls as I had. In this case, you’ll need to double the slices of bacon from 4 to 8.
How To Make A Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Crescent
- Preheat oven to 375. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray set aside.
- In one pan, fry bacon. In another pan, scramble the eggs and milk.
- Using the photo for reference, arrange the crescent rolls in a ring, leaving the center open. I put a small bowl there at first, to keep everything from falling into the center.
- First, add a ½ slice of bacon to each triangle. Next, add some cheese. Then, add all of the scrambled eggs. Top with more cheese.
- Wrap the crescent roll triangles around the bacon, egg, and cheese mixture. Tuck the roll into the center, underneath the beginning of the roll, so it doesn’t come apart while baking.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes on 375. Allow cooling a little before cutting and serving.
This would also make the perfect dinner recipe! My hubby and girls love having breakfast for dinner. Plus, it really makes cooking time and clean-up easy for me. Especially during the week when we have so many activities going on.
