Boba, commonly known as bubble tea, is one of my favorite drinks. It’s the perfect compliment to any meal and with the variety of tea, fruit, or milk-based beverages, it’s never dull. And also let’s not forget about the 101 toppings – everything from boba to pudding
and rainbow jelly
are all yummy additions. 😊
Originating in Taiwan in the 1980s, boba has since taken the world by storm. There are at least 20 boba shops within the immediate 5-mile radius of my home, so luckily for me, there’s no shortage of bubble tea. However, as avid boba fanatics, regular trips to boba shops can really eat a hole into your wallet. A simple way to save money and still continue to enjoy boba is to make it yourself at home.
