As my love for all things Chai Spiced grows, I realized that is was time to create my own mix. Honestly, the Hot Buttered Chai Tea that I enjoyed recently at a local cafe was what drew me into this adventure! Although that delicious cup of tea wasn’t Keto, I knew it could be easily adapted. This Chai Spice Mix is the secret to my new favorite morning beverage, inspired by that cafe drink. My Chai Spice Mix, is low carb / Keto friendly and can be used to make the most delicious “bullet proof” Chai Tea ever!
After you have created the Chai Spice Mix, you will use it for all sorts of wonderful creations! Cookies, Brownies, Hemp Seed Overnight Cereal, and of course “Bullet Proof Chai Tea.” Â I will post the recipe for Bullet Proof Chai Tea soon! Perhaps I will also create an ice cream with this Chai Spice Mix!
This Chai Spice Mix comes together in just a couple of minutes, it is super easy to make. Store the mix in an air tight glass container in the pantry, it will last for months.
Chai Spice Mix, Low Carb / Keto
This Chai Spice Mix, is low carb / Keto friendly and can be used to make the most delicious "bullet proof" Chai Tea ever!
- 2 1/2 Tsp. Ground Ginger
- 4 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- 3/4 Tsp. Ground Clove
- 2 Tsp. Ground Cardamom
- 1 Tsp. Allspice
- 1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 1/4 Cup Erythritol
- 1/2 Cup Surkin Gold Or other brown sugar type sweetener
Measure out the ingredients, mix well and store in an airtight glass container in the pantry.
